空转锁一种适用范围广、结构简单的新型机械锁。空转锁包括外壳、钥匙、锁芯、叶片、拨块和内侧带齿口的滑块。（因厂家不同，结构略有不同。）
Idling lock is a new type of mechanical lock with wide application and simple structure. The idling lock comprises a housing, a key, a lock cylinder, a blade, a paddle block and a sliding block with a toothed mouth on the inner side. 滑块与锁芯之间设置离合弹簧，外壳内设置可轴向滑动并阻挡住滑块向前移动的挡柱，该挡柱与外壳之间设置复位弹簧使挡柱受到指向滑块方向的弹力，而且复位弹簧的弹力大于离合弹簧的弹力，锁芯的匙孔沿轴向由外向内的投影至少有一部分投影在挡柱的端面中，以使插入钥匙的末期钥匙前端可以将挡柱向内顶。
